Jolly Roger - 60 foot catamarans
built for fun, safety and comfort.

The Jolly Roger Cruises & Tours, S.A. is a Honduran company. Jolly Roger Catamarans are Honduran registered, insured, and comply with all Honduran Merchant Marine and USCG requirements for carrying passengers in Near Coastal Navigation. The Jolly Roger Group has operated catamarans in several countries in the Eastern and Western Caribbean as well as Mallorca Spain and Key West Florida.

Jolly Roger Cruises & Tours, S.A. operates several catamarans around the world, with three located in Roatan. Our three Roatan-based cats have collective capacity of 190 passengers. This allows our Cruise Ship Partners (Tour Desk) to continue to sell our product up until the very last minute while knowing we have sufficient capacity to accommodate a good number of their passengers.

Here are some technical details
The Jolly Roger fleet consists of custom built catamarans specially designed for day sailing in Caribbean waters. The centre of the deck is protected by a large sun canopy which allows our passengers to enjoy their day out with us under all conditions.

All of our catamarans meet or exceed United States Coast Guard (USCG) specifications for carrying passengers in near coastal environments. Our catamarans are 60 ft long and 28 ft wide. The twin fiberglass hulls are filled with a rigid foam polymer which makes the vessels totally unsinkable. The engineers say "They displace more than they weigh", therefore they cannot sink.

Jolly Roger Catamarans are certified to carry 80 passengers but our management limits the passenger load to 70 to insure additional comfort. Jolly Roger Catamarans have plenty of safe seating, safety hand railing, and specific marine toilets for men and women, and outdoor carpeted flooring for good footing. Our twin diesel engines provide motoring power when the wind is light. Our fleet offers the stability of a modern catamaran as required by the (USCG) specifications.

The front of each cat is equipped with a spacious "trampoline" style sun deck. Although not designed for acrobatics, it gives our guests an incredible feeling almost like flying when they stretch themselves out with the ocean speeding just below them.

For complete safety we have continuous ship to shore radio communications and mobile phone service to the island.
